BRANDON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Local gas stations are generating a spike in business, as residents prepare for Tropical Storm Isaac.
There were lines as long as six cars deep at the Kroger in Brandon.
The prices are also drawing more customers than normal at $3.37 a gallon.
Weather forecasts for later in the week predict high winds and power outages for central Mississippi, which could shut down the gas pumps.
