Two Pelahatchie residents killed in I-20 crash

PELAHATCHIE, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Two Pelahatchie residents are killed in a horrific crash on I-20 Saturday evening.

It happened about 6 p.m. near mile marker 66 in the west bound lane.

Rankin County Coroner Jimmy Roberts says the driver of a red Mazda lost control of the vehicle and went off the roadway.

He says four people were inside the car at the time of the accident.

Roberts says Suzy Norwood and Wesley Grant died in the crash.

Two others were taken to the hospital.

The accident remains under investigation.
