Millsaps wins Backyard Brawl 23-17

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Millsaps held off rival Mississippi College on Saturday to win the Backyard Brawl 23-17.

The Majors rolled up 268 yards rushing with 150 coming from Mike Barthelemy.

The win snaps a three-game losing skid against the Choctaws.

"My offensive line had a field day, everything was open. Today we prevailed and did what we had to do," Barthelemy said.
