JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Authorities are trying to find out the identity of the Capital City's latest homicide victim.
J.P.D. Officer Colendula Green said police found the body of a black male on Peter Quinn Drive near Country Club Drive, just before 1 a.m.
Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham Stewart said the man was shot three times.
He suffered wounds to his the back, the back of the head and in the abdomen.
The man, who was found lying in the street, had no identification.
It is believed he was shot where he was found.
Coroner Stewart described the man has having a medium build and possibly 40 to 55-years old.
