CLEMSON, SC (WIS) -

It's safe to say Clemson wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins had a life-changing week.

First, he was baptized in front of his coaches and teammates after Thursday's practice. Then he scored a game-winning touchdown and set a school record in the season opener.

A day after Saturday's win over Auburn, wide receivers coach Jeff Scott tweeted a photo of the baptism ceremony and wrote: "Highlight of my week....was seeing DeAndre Hopkins get Baptized in front of his teammates on Thursday after practice."

Perry Noble, pastor of NewSpring Church based in Anderson, officiated the baptism. Noble is the team's official chaplain.

In the Tigers' 26-19 win, Hopkins caught a school record 13 passes and scored the game-winning touchdown in 4th quarter.

The Tigers host Ball State at home on Saturday. No word if any other baptisms are scheduled.
