A Texas
woman visiting a Louisiana casino became an instant millionaire when she kept
playing the slots after her husband decided to go to bed.
L'Auberge
Casino Resort in Lake Charles said Rhonda Alvarez of Dickinson, TX won more
than $1.2 million Saturday morning.
The casino
said her husband hit a $13,000 jackpot recently and was still feeling pretty
good about that win, so he decided to get some shut-eye.
Rhonda, on
the other hand, continued pulling levers and actually tried several machines
before finding the "Wheel of Fortune" progressive slot machine.
L'Auberge
said she claimed to have a "good feeling" about it and predicted it
was "going to hit."
Her
prediction came true and about 30 minutes after sitting down at that game she
hit big.
