EDWARDS, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
A building contractor indicted by a Madison County Grand Jury back in 2009 is finally in custody.
After two years of searching for Alvin Dennis Hall, investigators followed a lead that he was residing in Edwards.
Law enforcement approached Hall at a location in Hinds County Tuesday and he fled into some nearby woods. He was captured three hours later.
The 47-year-old allegedly accepted $10,000 for work then failed to finish it for a Madison homeowner in 2009.
Hall was booked into the Madison County Detention Center and is awaiting his initial appearance.
