JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A federal grand jury recently met to consider more hate-crime charges in the death of a black man rundown by a white man last year.

Three white men have pleaded guilty to federal hate crime charges in the death of James Craig Anderson. He was run over in Jackson in 2011.

The driver, Deryl Dedmon, also pleaded guilty to state murder and hate-crime charges. He was sentenced to life in prison.

Prosecutors say four other "co- conspirators" were present at Anderson's death. No charges have been filed against them.

The FBI says its investigation continues.
