You do not have to dig deep with Murrah senior offensive tackle James Davis to find out how big Friday night's game with JPS rival Callaway is.
"Honestly like, since I've been at Murrah all four year, this is the biggest this game has escalated to," said Davis.
Davis, a Southern Miss commit, knows the magnitude of this game.
It has been dubbed the JPS Super Bowl by some.
"I mean, it's a real big thing because you know they are our rivals. You know, there has been a lot of tension this week. A lot has happened. We just know from what we have seen this week and how big this game is. We know what we have to do Friday, just how we have to take care of business and bring home that trophy," Davis said.
Murrah and Callaway meet on Friday at Newell Field at 7:30 p.m.
