JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
The final day of CelticFest Mississippi wrapped up a weekend of music, dance, food and entertainment.
Crowds were drawn to the exciting medieval sparring demonstrations Sunday.
Thousands attended the event that celebrates Irish and Scottish culture.
The weekend was filled with music and dance performances, the Highland Games, storytelling and much more.
It was a laid back afternoon on day three filled with folk songs and heritage workshops.
Vendors offered specialty items like traditional swords and other Celtic fare.
David Linden of Huntsville Alabama arrived Friday and attends each year.
"I've really enjoyed the workshops. I've had a good time, spend a fair amount of time there and of course coming here from out of town I managed to hear a lot of bands that I've never been around in the past," said Linden.
All of this year's fun and activities ended at six o'clock Sunday.
CelticFest Mississippi celebrated its 21-year.
