Gold Medalist Bianca Knight returns to Mississippi

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Ridgeland native Bianca Knight returned to Mississippi for the first time since winning gold in the London Olympic Games in August.

Knight ran the third leg for team USA in the 4x100M Relay.

The team set the world record of 40.82 seconds.

"I think it means something really big for Mississippi. I think I can be an inspiration to a lot of kids coming up. I hope they watched it, and they see that you can achieve anything through hard work," Knight stated.
