Teen injured in west Jackson shooting

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson police were investigating a shooting on the city's Westside Thursday night.

Officer Colendula Green said a 19 year-old black male was shot in the leg at Wingfield Town Homes about 9:20 P.M.

No suspects or motive have been identified.

The victim's injury was not considered to be life-threatening.
