Elderly man robbed, kidnapped in Vicksburg

Vicksburg Police Chief Walter Armstrong says they have identified two suspects involved in a robbery and kidnapping at a casino.

Monday morning around 10 a.m., a 76-year-old man was approached by two males in the parking lot of the Rainbow Casino at 1380 Warrenton Road.

They forced him at gunpoint back into his car. He was robbed of $190 and then forced to drive to a nearby bank to withdraw another $250.

The elderly man was not hurt.

Chief Armstrong says the two suspects are from the Warren County area and will be charged with armed robbery and kidnapping.
