Fishermen find body in local lake

CHEROKEE COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

An investigation is underway into the cause of death of a man whose body was found floating Wednesday morning in an East Texas lake.

Officials say the body Marvin Freeney, 24, of Jacksonville, was found by two fishermen on Lake Jacksonville Wednesday morning.

The cause of death is undetermined, and the victim's body has been sent to Tyler for autopsy.

Jacksonville Police are investigating.
