RICHLAND, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
A Louisiana trucker lost his cargo Wednesday morning after he ran into a bridge in Richland.
Around 10:30 a.m., the driver of a flatbed 18-wheeler thought he had enough room to make it under the I-20 bridge on Old Highway 49.
He was carrying a forklift that he had just picked up from an auction and was headed to Houston, Texas.
The driver says there was no sign posted with the clearance height of the bridge.
Traffic was backed up for about 30 minutes while the mess was cleaned up.
