Three Jackson men indicted on federal drug charges - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
Three Jackson men appeared in federal court Wednesday on various drug charges stemming from an extensive investigation targeting illegal narcotics distribution in the City of Jackson.
The defendants were arrested on Tuesday, September 18, and five firearms were seized as a result of a federal search warrant.
Antonio Latorn Shelton, a/k/a "Chuck", 38, is charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 120 years in prison and a $6 million fine.
Tonny Wash, 27, is charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 20 years prison and a $1 million fine.
Willie Milton Cage Jr., 28, is charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
The defendants are scheduled for trial on November 6, 2012 before U.S. District Judge Daniel P. Jordan III.
This case was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration's High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Group with assistance from the FBI, U.S. Marshal Service, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, Jackson Police Department and Hinds County Sheriff's Department.
