Man accused of killing his aunt sentenced to death

MCCOMB, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A McComb man received the death penalty for killing his aunt.

Daniel Beasley admitted to hearing his aunt scream, having her blood on his clothes and stuffing those clothes in a service station dumpster.

According to the McComb Enterprise Journal, Beasley denied hacking Janie Beasley to death in May of 2011.

A jury convicted him of killing the 73-year-old woman at her home in Liberty.
