'Operation Paperchase': Crimes date back to 2009

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

We're learning more about "Operation Paperchase" -- the big Federal drug bust in Jackson on Monday.

Ten people have been indicted for charges related to selling cocaine and crack.

Those indicted include Booker "Shanky" Tarvin, Willie James "Big Bug" Williams, Aundra "Grey Head" Mason, Willie Earl Culley, Fredrick Ford, Kevin "Bon Bon" Redd, Keith Taylor, Tiffany Kyser, Warwick Mikell, and Shamika Fulford.

3 On Your Side has exclusive video from Tuesday morning that shows Mason being taken into custody on Idlewild Drive in Jackson. The indictment specifies the dates that law enforcement says the offenders engaged in the crimes. It states that the crimes may have started as early as January 2009.

The defendants were arrested on Sept. 18. Approximately $40,000 and a firearm were seized at that time.
