A boil water notice has been lifted for Yazoo County.
The Central Yazoo Water Association has lifted the precautionary boil water alert for the customers who receive their drinking water from the water system in Yazoo County.
Tests have been performed by the Mississippi Department of Public Health and the water is now safe to drink.
