Vehicle lands in a creek, killing the driver

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A pick-up flipped into a creek Sunday morning, claiming the life of the driver.

JPD says it happened about 6:35 near Adkins Boulevard and Colonial Circle.

Officers believe the unidentified driver had a medical problem before losing control of the Ford F-150, driving it off the roadway and landing in the water.

The older black male driver will not be identified until the next of kin has been notified. It's believed he was the only person in the vehicle.

The crash remains under investigation.
