2 medical helicopters respond to Chandler wreck

Two medical helicopters responded to a major wreck south of Chandler, Monday morning.

The wreck happened on FM 317 about a mile west of FM 315 just before 7:30 a.m.

According to authorities, the wreck involved two vehicles that struck head on. Two patients were airlifted to a Tyler hospital with unknown injuries.
