The summer like sunshine we are experiencing during this first week of the fall season will bring another summer like concern this afternoon. We'll see the afternoon high reach into the lower 90s, which may not necessarily break a record high, but will be warm / hot nonetheless. Heat index could reach into the mid to upper 90s. Winds will be south at 10-15mph.
Tonight what few clouds may be in place will thin out once again. Temps will drop by more than 30 degrees, making for a mild and clear night. Overnight low of 60 degrees with winds from the southeast 5-10mph.
Tomorrow the sunshine returns once again, likely to be a close repeat to today's heat and humid feel. Highs will be near 90 degrees (actually slightly below). Winds will be from the southeast at 5-10 mph. Rain is on the way, but we'll have to wait until Friday before we build up a 20% chance of showers going into the weekend.
