A two car accident on I-55 near the Pearl street exit backed up traffic for about an hour Tuesday afternoon.
The driver of a northbound car lost control and t-boned a titan pickup. The pickup slammed into the concrete barrier and flipped back onto the roadway.
The pickup driver, who was a Nissan employee, said all the safety equipment on the truck worked. He walked away without injury.
Northbound traffic is flowing normally.
