City officials say water main breaks all repaired

Posted: Updated:
TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Crews worked overnight to repair seven water main breaks in the city of Tyler.

The water main breaks closed down lanes and left East Texans without water.

After hours of work, crews say they finished repairing the breaks Friday morning, and everyone's water should be restored.

City officials say it is hard to dictate what exactly caused the breaks, but they believe it might stem from a water tank they were working to repair on Thursday.
