Party animals help raise money for Jackson Zoo

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Folks took a walk on the wild side in Jackson Thursday night to help raise money for the Jackson Zoo.

Food, music and dancing were on the menu for the annual Zoo Party.

Numerous restaurants teamed up to provide food and drink for those in attendance at Highland Village.

Some people even dressed up as animals for the event.

The money raised will help the zoo provide food, healthcare, and housing for the animals.

The Zoo Party was expected to raise several thousand dollars for the Jackson facility.
