Fresh From the Flame - Pork Tenderloin w/ Apple Chutney

As seen on the WLBT A.M. Report, savory and sweet collide in this dish perfect for the fall.

Apple Chutney Ingredients:

  • 2 cups chopped, fresh Gala apples
  • 1 cup golden raisins
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced
  • 1 Jalapeno, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 3/4 cup apple juice

Directions:

Combine above listed ingredients in a saucepan until it cooks down. Process will take about 45 minutes.

When it's done spoon over grilled pork tenderloin. You can substitute grilled chicken as a protein for the chutney.
