Low pressure over Texas will slowly track our way over the next couple of days. Periods of heavy rain are very likely through tonight, with rain intensity and coverage becoming less on Monday. As the low pressure area moves away from our area by late Monday, some additional showers may move back in for Tuesday morning.
Rain totals will range 2"-4" with locally higher amounts in excess of 5".
Flash flooding is the main threat from this system, but some isolated severe weather is possible in southeast Mississippi this afternoon and evening.
Clouds and rain will keep our daytime temperatures on the cool side. I expect highs in the middle 70s today, low 70s for Monday.
