Jackson city fountains go pink for breast cancer awareness

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

City fountains in Jackson are going pink for breast cancer awareness and life.

Monday morning, Mayor Harvey Johnson is scheduled to present a proclamation declaring October Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the city. The fountains in front of City Hall and Thalia Mara Hall will be pink.

The event starts at 9:45 a.m. tomorrow in front of the fountains at Thalia Mara Hall.
