MPB unveils early childhood learning center at JSU

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Mississippi Public Broadcasting is helping bridge the gap in pre-school education by partnering with Jackson State University's Mississippi Learning Institute to create an early childhood teaching laboratory.

The lab will provide professional development and technical assistance to educators, college students and child care providers.

MPB staff members transformed a classroom into an interactive resource lab based on the Between the Lions Preschool Literacy Initiative.
