There were debate watch parties across the nation and here in the Jackson area Wednesday night.
Republicans gathered at Ridgeland's Burgers and Blues and Democrats gathered at The Room on Woodrow Wilson.
"I've lost small business. I week for another small business and we're hurting and we sit there and the phone doesn't ring half the time. There's a lot of pain and suffering going on. That was his job to get it done. He promised it; he would get it done and he didn't do it, so it's time to go," said John Taylor, Chairman of the Madison County Republican Party.
"We have family owned businesses and under Mitt Romney's reign, if he becomes president, all of those will close and then we will be back to the bottom of the barrel and we'll have to start over again and it won't be us, it will be our children and our children's children," Jacqueline Amos-Norris, Chairman, Hinds County Democratic Executive Committee.
