There's a beautiful day expected with plenty of sunshine anticipated during the afternoon hours. Temps are expected to rise well above the norm for this time of the year into the upper 80s.
Additionally the pollen count is steadily climbing, and winds south at 7-14 mph.
Tonight the clouds will begin to build into the area, thanks to an approaching cold front from the north. The additional clouds will have a double effect - keeping it warm during the overnight period while bumping up the moisture content in the atmosphere.
Winds will begin to shift north as well.
Saturday the cold front will slowly nudge its way into the state, possibly bringing a chance of rain along with that same system. Expect thick clouds to form, hover, and stick around all day long, keeping us in the 70s for the high temps.
Another side effect will be increasing moisture and at least a 20% chance of rain with winds from the north.
