Woman carjacked by armed couple

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A woman escaped injury during an armed carjacking in west Jackson Saturday afternoon.

Officers responded to the scene in Presidential Hills in the 3700 block of Thomas Jefferson Road.

Police received the 911 call around 1:10 p.m.

Investigators said the unidentified victim was held at gunpoint by an African American man and woman.

No other description was given.

The two got away with a Gray Chrysler 300, information on the year was not available.

The license plate is HSW907.
