Issaquena County dispatcher killed in accident

ISSAQUENA COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

We now have more information about a one car accident that caused the death of a Mayersville woman.

Early Friday morning sometime after 1 a.m., 63-year-old Helen Ruth was driving her silver 2004 Chevrolet Malibu when it ran off the road and overturned on Highway 14 east of Mayersville.

According to Issaquena County Coroner Angela Brown, Ford was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.

Issaquena County Sheriff Richard Jones says Ford had been a dispatcher for 17-years.
