JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Jackson police are investigating a second weekend carjacking and robbery, this time ending in a rollover and arrest.
A blue Nissan Altima crashed, landing on its roof in a ditch in the 4400 block of Medgar Evers Boulevard.
Officers responded to the scene around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
J.P.D. Spokesperson Officer Colendula Green said units were trying to stop the vehicle which was reported to have been carjacked.
Witnesses said three men were inside the vehicle when it overturned.
They climbed out and ran.
Two were able to escape.
One Precinct Three Officer chased one of the suspects and apprehended him at a nearby convenience store.
