Tyler police responding to shooting at residence near Rose Stadium

Tyler police are responding to a call regarding a shooting near Tyler's Rose Stadium.

According to Tyler PD Public Information Officer Don Martin, a group of people were at a residence at 907 Turner Street, when a suspect pulled over his vehicle in front of the home, pulled out a revolver and shot Chris Crockett, 28. There is no known cause yet for the shooting, as people on scene tell police there was no argument at the time of the shooting. 

Crockett was shot once in the left arm and was taken to a local hospital.

The suspect has been pulled over and detained nearby.
