Liz Davis, "The Voice" competitor takes the gloves off!

MADISON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Another talented country music singer is competing for national attention on the NBC hit "The Voice."

In fact, celebrity coaches loved 25-year old Madison resident Liz Davis during her last appearance. Davis selected country music star Blake Shelton as her coach.

She is in town and met us Tuesday at Madison Central High School where she graduated.

The country crooner is determined to make it to the top, despite all the pressure. She has gone from winning an 8th grade talent show in Hoover, Alabama to an outstanding performance on "The Voice."

Davis has made it to the battle rounds. You can watch this talented Mississippi singer compete again as the reality show continues. Don't miss "The Voice." tonight at 7 on WLBT!
