Man sought in Jackson KFC robbery

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Police are searching for the man who robbed a Jackson KFC Tuesday.

Police responded to the Kentucky Fried Chicken on Woodrow Wilson Boulevard just after 3:00pm.

A man had entered the store showing a weapon. He was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police were told that the robber was a black male wearing a red jacket with a black stripe, a baseball cap, and blue jeans. He was last seen running south on Prosperity Street.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the robbery to call Jackson police department at 601-960-1234.
