FBI Citizens' Academy participants train with weapons

RANKIN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

How would you like to fire the weapons used by FBI agents? Members of the agency's Citizens' Academy got the opportunity to do just that Thursday night. 

WLBT's own Galean Stewart is a member of the fall class and is in the final installment of the 6-week program before graduation. 

Stewart tested her skill on the .40 caliber GLOCK pistol used by most FBI agents.  

Participants are selected from a broad range of professions for the academy. 

Special agent-in-charge Daniel McMullen praises the program saying it helps promote better understanding of the work the agency does.
