Elaborate face painting at the state fair

If you're looking for a way to stand out from the crowd and have some fun...think about adding some brilliant and bright colors to your face!

Hope Mallard is the owner of "Prissy Paintbrush." Mallard, a professional face painter has a booth at the state fair for the very first time. The Jackson native can create just about any design you can think of. Friday morning she painted an elaborate and colorful tiger on her daughter Faith's face and a butterfly on her daughter Charity. She also created a purple butterfly-cheetah and "Hello Kitty" on WLBT morning reporter Jewell Hillery.

"Right now I just want to make this hot for Mississippi because it's never been here before and people are loving it, but if I had the chance to travel I would love to do the Disney cruises go to Disney World and be a face painter," Mallard told WLBT News.
