Extra sleep improves kids behavior

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A little extra sleep may go a long way in improving kids' behavior.

Researchers say kids ages 7 to 11 showed significant improvements in their ability to control emotions and were more alert in school when they got an extra half hour of sleep at night.

It's estimated more than half of school age children go to bed past 9 P-M.
