This morning the sunshine is combined with a few patchy areas of fog, particularly along the Mississippi River. Travel should still go on without a hitch, with perhaps the only exception in the Warren County/Vicksburg area in the early morning hours.
Expect sunshine today with a high of 78 degrees; winds southeast at 10-15 mph.
Tonight we'll start off mainly clear with fast dropping temps. After the midnight hour we could see a few clouds begin to stream into our area from the northeast.
Temps are expected to only drop into the lower 50s, but still feeling a bit cool. Winds will continue to push from the southeast at 5-10 mph.
Wednesday the rise in moisture may set up for a bit of patchy fog during the pre-dawn hours, and higher humidity in the early morning as well. Don't be surprised at a few mid afternoon clouds painting the skyline as we watch for a trough to get closer to us, eventually becoming a front.
Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s, and winds from the southeast at 10-15 mph. We could see some showers develop late Wednesday into the early morning hours on Thursday.
