The FBI has been busy this year conducting sting operations catching current and former law enforcement officers ripping off drug dealers. Why is this a big deal? Do you know what happens to seized cash and property in a drug bust? It goes to law enforcement agencies involved in the bust.
So in fact stealing cash and property from drug dealers is no different than stealing or embezzling from the government. But the worst part about these FBI stings is it erodes our trust and casts a shadow on all of our dedicated law enforcement officers.
Don't let these rotten apples spoil your trust in all the good and decent officers that do their job the right way, everyday.
