Jackson city council honors Bert Case

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The City of Jackson honored WLBT's very own Bert Case Tuesday night.

Ward 4 councilman Frank Bluntson offered a resolution honoring and commending Case for his outstanding contribution to the field of broadcast journalism.

He was joined by wife Mary Wieden and WLBT general manager Dan Modisett.

The 73-year-old has worked as news director at all three stations in the Jackson market.

Case has worked at WLBT for 39 years.
