Worker who fell 5 stories at construction site dies

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Hinds County coroner says a construction worker who fell five stories at a work site in Jackson last week has died.

Forty-three-year-old Stacy Washington died at the University of Mississippi Medical Center Wednesday night from injuries he sustained in the fall.

Washington, who was a welder, fell at the Baptist Health Systems construction site on North State Street Friday.
