It was a heroes welcome for Olympic silver medalist Michael Tinsley at Blackburn Middle School on Thursday.
The former Jackson State track star, fresh off a return from the London Olympic Games, took time to talk to students about the importance on staying in school.
The 400-meter hurdles silver medalist was joined by gold medalist and Ridgeland native Bianca Knight.
