Man shot during carjacking

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson Police are looking for two armed carjackers. Authorities say the pair approached two people at South Brook Garden Apartments on Daniel Lake Boulevard and demanded the victim's car and money.

One of the victims was shot in the thigh and has been taken to a local hospital. The other had a gun pointed at his head but was able to get away and get help.

Authorities say the thieves got away with a multi-colored Ford Crown Victoria.
