JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Jackson Police say one victim in a double shooting has died.
Officer Colendula Green tells WLBT two unidentified black males were shot in the 1600 block of Pinebrook in South Jackson before 5 p.m.
One victim was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital.
The second victim collapsed in a backyard on Brookwood Drive.
Green says the two males got into an argument before shots rang out. It's unclear if the gunfire erupted in a home or outside in the street.
The second victim's condition is unknown.
JPD says the incident is being investigated as a homicide.
