JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
A woman is lucky to be alive after being stabbed two times in the neck.
A passerby found the unidentified victim near the intersection of McDowell Road and Woody Drive, early Sunday morning.
We are told the stabbing incident took place just north of McDowell, on Dianne Drive.
Sunday afternoon police said the woman was in stable condition at a Jackson hospital, recovering wounds to the neck area.
Officers remained on the scene for some time collecting evidence Sunday.
They are still investigating the incident. No arrest has been made.
