Madison County resident in court for insurance fraud

MADISON COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A Madison County resident is going to jail for committing insurance fraud.

23-year-old Johnnetta White of Camden was sentenced Monday after previously entering an open plea.

She was ordered to serve one year in prison and make restitution to Allstate Insurance in Ridgeland for over $2,700. White must also pay various other fees and serve 5 years post release supervision.

She admitted to fraudulently filing a second insurance claim on damages she had already filed for.
