
Three people were thrown from a car in Rankin County, following a one vehicle accident. It happened near 696 Leesburg Road in Pelahatchie.
Rankin County Sheriff Bryan Bailey tells us the vehicle flipped onto its side. It was found in an open field. Sheriff Bailey says one passenger has serious injuries. That passenger was airlifted to University Medical Center in Jackson. Two others were taken to UMC by ambulance.
Rankin County deputies, officers from the Pelahatchie Police and Fire Departments were on the scene. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
